Alatishe Taiwo Temitope with the stage name Alat is a Singer, composer, rapper, and songwriter. Alat has been rapping as early as 9 years old which stemmed from his love for the late notorious big and puff daddy.
Professionally, he started recording music back in 2010 as T-alat, a rapper while studying as an undergraduate at the University of Lagos where he graduated with a BSc in the building. Along the line, he evolved fully into a composer, singer and songwriter who chose music solely as his core weapon of expression.

Born in the 90s and growing up in a Yoruba home with elder brothers that were hip hop lovers. Rap, Pop, r n b, Fuji and Juju music were the kind of music that inspired him to begin creating his own music. Artists such as Fela, K1 Wasiu Ayinde, B.I.G, Puff Daddy, Jay z, 2face, Koffee Olumide, Dbanj and Femi Kuti played a great influence on his style and journey as a music maker.
