Taking on the need to showcase her multiple personalities and driven by the excitement of making music during this period of worldwide lockdown, Shameless which is named
after the title burst to life as Zinny and Deo exchanged ideas over days of chatting on Instagram, “we were already dancing before the mix” Says Deo.
Not afraid to step out of her comfort zone and push boundaries, “Freaky at night” stands out as a style Zinny will be showcasing in the future infusing Trapsoul with Afro sounds. Her ability to adapt and channel her personalities into her music is simply refreshing. Pulling influences from modern artists as well as timeless legends such as Jhene Aiko, Nicki Minaj, Bryson Tiller, Nina Simone, and Angelica Kidjo is not only incredibly unique but shamelessly effortless.
