

The organizers of the annual Nobel Prize has named the duo of Malala Yousafzai and Kailash Satyarthi as the recipient of this year Peace Prize.
Malala Yousafzai came to prominence when she was shot twice in the head at the age of 15 by the Islamist Taliban due to her advocacy for girl child education.
The assailants had attacked her in a school bus due to her continuous fight to ensure that Pakistani young females where allowed the right to education.
Malala a few weeks ago visited Nigeria to call on the
President to ensure the safe return of the over 200 abducted school girls who where taken almost 180 days ago. She also gave a speech at last year's United Nations General Assembly where she gave a strong worded message in support of the girl child especially in places like Nigeria and across the world.
Kailash Satyarthi on the other hand is an Indian trained electronic engineer who abandoned his career in 1980 to campaign against child labour by organizing and leading protests for the cause.
