Born on October 2nd in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, Adeyemi was raised as the youngest of five children in a devout Christian home. His innate passion for communication and human connection led him to Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) in Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State. He graduated with a B.Sc. in Mass Communication. This specialized academic background would later become a defining asset in his musical career, equipping him with an exceptional ability to engage, command, and connect intimately with diverse audiences across the globe.
While music has been an intrinsic part of his life for over thirty years, AY Covenant’s professional career officially took flight twenty years ago. Driven by an unwavering faith, his musical trajectory is defined by consistency, excellence, and spiritual growth. Over the years, he has been a sought-after collaborator, featuring on numerous musical projects alongside prominent ministers, churches, and fellow artists.
As a recording artist, he has built an impressive discography. He released his debut studio album in 2017, followed by a successful second project in the year 2023. On July 19, 2026, AY Covenant reached a definitive career milestone. He hosted a landmark anniversary concert to celebrate 2 Decades of Excellence (20 Years on Stage). The landmark event set the stage for Divine Favor, his highly anticipated third studio album, which rolled out globally on digital streaming platforms on August 1, 2026
Beyond the bright lights of the stage, AY Covenant is a dedicated family man who balances his demanding career with his role as a husband and father. He met his wife in 2018, became engaged in 2019, and the couple officially wedded on August 1, 2024. Together, they are blessed with four sons. For AY Covenant, his family remains his greatest earthly blessing and his most grounding support system.
