BIOGRAPHY
Olapeju is a worship leader who loves to worship God in songs. She was born and raised in Lagos Nigeria, where she discovered her love for praising God. Her journey with music started when she was in primary school, where she would always be a part of musical projects. This continued to her secondary school and university days, where she started to lead worship.
One of the strong influences of Olapeju’s music is Cece Winans - Cece’s warmth and pure heart which are evident in her music, were some of the things that have drawn Olapeju to Cece Winans’ music. Another type of music that has a great influence on Olapeju’s sound is the Nigerian traditional praise.
In 2014, she wrote her first single Your Name is Great, which was produced by Wole Oni.
Apart from singing, she enjoys spending time with family, indoor activities and new technology. She is a wife, a mother and an IT professional, who is passionate about data privacy and security.
